Alternative Break- Asheville, NCAdd to Cart

He was among 9 students who returned to school today, Monday March 17, 2014, after spending their Alternative Break volunteering at theYMCA of Western NC Youth Service Center, spending the week to help with projects to improve the center and in the community. They addressed access to sports and recreation and built a kiosk, cleared a stream bed and worked with elementary students in an after school program as their Alternative Break project. CMU is ranked fourth in the nation for the number of students participating in Alternative Breaks and fifth in the country for the most trips coordinated by a university.
